Hi, I know we haven't used this group email list too much of late, but I think it still reaches some far corners of the Heidkamp clan.

I wanted to let everyone know that on the cusp of having my mom, Ann, enter hospice care, her health has declined rather rapidly.  She is at the Presence Resurrection Life Center on the NW side of Chicago-- a nursing home in the same complex that also contains the retirement community where Dick is residing. She is resting as peacefully as possible. Mike, Dick, and I got to see her today, along with other immediate family, although visiting is restricted.

We will keep everyone up to date, but in the meantime, keep her and Dick in your thoughts and prayers.

I have so many memories of life with Aunt Ann so I wish her peace as she enters into heaven.

May memories of happy times with your mom sustain you at this time. She loved to garden and bake bread and was quite a remarkable teacher. She was our sweet Aunt who we loved dearly.

Ann was a beautiful, gracious and loving person.  Her wit and wisdom will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Our prayers go out to the entire Dick Heidkamp family.

Thank you to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I just wanted to let everyone know that Ann did pass on peacefully last night. We will let everyone know of arrangements soon. Unfortunately, we won't be able to have an in-person celebration of her life in the upcoming days, but we are planning on bringing everyone together later this year in her honor.
