Help cutting aluminum beams

Good evening dear group of HSL,

I have small aluminum (or I think it is aluminum alloy) what I need cut at certain length, do you know if we have the proper tool at the lab?

Context: it's an IKEA wall hanger/support for some shelf's, but I got the "long" ones when needed the small, unfortunately because I already used its other box contents (like a few fasteners) I would not be able to return it / exchange it at the store.

The bandsaw in the metal lab should do this well. It is an awkward tool, with some quirks, but I've used it without much trouble. I do recommend you ask for some help, the first time is no time to learn on material you actually need. 

PM me somewhere, I'm planning on being in the lab this afternoon, and could meet you. Not open hours that I know of. Someone in the CAD meetup tonight might be able to help also, ask and see if they can.

We weren't able to coincide at the time you were in the lab (I get out of work past 4pm)

Is anyone from the FreeCAD  or Jewlery groups tonight in a position where you can help me with this machine?

But I'll not be able to make it tonight, I pushed it too much on a tight schedule, I haven't had the chance to have dinner.

If you're good with it, let's sync up and I can swing by the lab one of the other days you're around.
