Hi Chelsea,

Jetson developer kits are impossible to get right now.

Any word on when new shipments are expected to be available? I have a project that is dead in its tracks while I wait for new Jetsons to be available at retail prices.

Thanks!

Same here.
The content looks interesting and relevant to some current and possible future client projects, but without available hardware, it's all pretty much window-shopping.

My current project is based around the idea that anyone can build it, but it's also built ontop of the Jetson Nano.

So it's been very disheartening. I was looking at lead times for the Nano and Pi4 and resellers that estimate lead times have both at over A YEAR right now.

Hey Scott and Steve,

Totally understand the frustration here! Unfortunately, we've been hit pretty hard by the global supply chain issues and I don't have an estimate to share on hardware availability.

If you can share some details about your projects, I can check to see if it would be a fit for any of our hardware grant programs.

Best,
Chelsea

Hi Chelsea,

Thanks for responding!

I’m very interested in exploring a hardware grant. What are the next steps?

Here is my project built on the Jetson platform:

The goal is to build an open-source lovable, accessible, autonomous companion bot that costs under $500 and is completely self-contained.

I explored several options and the only platform that can handle my plans is the Jestson Nano.

Right now I have a new team-member looking to join the project but he can’t get started without a Jetson.

You can see videos of RoBud in action here:

Feel free to contact me directly.
