The second thing I forgot was - calibrate odometry. 

Both in X direction - moving robot back and forth, and rotations. The EKF output topic should reflect position and orientation changes, and it should be consumed (subscribed) by Slam Toolbox.

These EKF2 settings work for me, but my Turtle doesn't have legs: https://github.com/slgrobotics/articubot_one/blob/dev/robots/turtle/config/ekf_odom_params.yaml
