Hazelcast Imap.clear() not deleting entries from map permanently

Hi All,

I am using Imap.clear()  to remove all entries from the map. The map count reduces to 0 after that.

However when i query on the map for a particular id, the value is printed and map count increased.

Any suggestions why this strange behavior is happening?

Hi Ali,

Yes we have configured mapStore but the deleteAll() is empty as we do not want to delete the entries from database.

We have not configured maploader.

I have talked to the developer and we have implemented load(String key) method in mapStore. So if the entity is not found in cache it will be fetched from the database.
