Custom plugins for jvm-console or hawtio-online

Hi,

I have custom plugins for hawtio which I deploy on karaf via JMX.
If I deploy my app on openshift and install hawtio-online on openshift, will my custom plugin work on:
a) jvm-console
b) hawtio-online

?

If not what I need to do to install custom plugin on jvm-console or hawtio-online?

Hi,

At this moment AFAIK there is no easy way to load custom plugins with hawtio-online. It's because hawtio-online doesn't have the JVM backend so the JMX-based dynamic plugin loader isn't available.

If you want to use a custom plugin, you'd need to build a custom docker image with the plugin. See how the external artemis plugin is included in hawtio-online out of the box.

I have another idea. I have a pod with my osgi application with installed hawtio on openshift. Can I configure hawtio to connect to other pods via jmx?
