So far, I've locally isolated this to an upstream problem with GLFW on "Big Sur":

$ git clone https://github.com/bsl/GLFW-b.git
$ cd GLFW-b
$ cabal build
...
<command line>: can't load framework: AGL (not found)

However, I'm not really sure why it's failing.

Update: I've reported the immediate issue upstream here: https://github.com/bsl/GLFW-b/issues/90

However, a bit of further digging reveals that people have had problems loading all frameworks. It might be a more general GHC problem. See: https://gitlab.haskell.org/ghc/ghc/-/issues/18446

Thanks for the efforts! The GHC issue looks indeed like it could be the cause. So maybe let's just wait until it is fixed and hopefully this will already solve the problems.
