Lately, companies have started requiring the SBOM, which is a detailed and structured inventory of all the components, libraries, and dependencies (both open source and third-party) that make up an application. Fortunately, our code's dependencies aren't as horrendous as those of other popular environments, but obviously any Harbour program has a lot of dependencies, and it would be great to have a base document in the appropriate format or a small utility that generates the SBOM file. It would be amazing if it were just a simple HBMK2 flag ;-)

I've searched for the term 'SBOM' in the group and haven't found anything. But it's possible that one of us has already solved this problem. If so, please share your progress on this matter.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Thanks, but that link won't work for me. It leads to an SBOM document created by software built with Harbour, which can serve as a template. I was looking for an application that could retrieve that information automatically. Thanks anyway.

Best regards.

Yes we are planning to support both, but there will have to be a period of testing... First, we have to finish the main Framework, then we will handle separate libraries, the period of adaptation, since they are harbour dependencies, will be very short.

Your software is unique, that is why i sent you a template...

But no worries, you must install Antigravity from Google, then ask gemini to analyze your software and make the document for you...
There is no other way, since no software can know what are you using in your software, but an AI can... it will take only a few minutes....

You must be precise with your request, write to her with all the information that you need, as much as you can, a single request is better than having to repeat, ohh and this, ohh and that, and also that, oh i forgot that....
