I need to generate a mirror of an order in Word.
There are few examples of integration with Word, there are good examples with Excel, but not much with Word.
Would anyone have something to share?

What is „mirror of order“?

I created a class for my own needs that works for OpenOffice Writer and MS Word. But unfortunately it uses my functions, so it's not easy to extract.

Regards, NB

Hi Ronaldo,
Another  source for knowledge on how to work with Word documents in Harbour are messages from Bernard Mouille.
Find his messages on this forum, may be you will find something useful to you.

Simo.

I have an example of an order mirror.
I thought it would be simple, like printing a report using row and column coordinates, but from what I can see, it is much more complex.
The system user wanted the option to edit this order with Word. In a CLIPPER system, they had the option, but in that case, it was done differently. The old program used an .RTF template and made substitutions of the pre-formatted texts and opened it in Word.
I'm thinking of generating a PDF and forcing it to open in Word; maybe it will be easier that way.
Does anyone have another suggestion?

Hi Ronaldo.

Be kind and explain me what you mean by order mirror in the example you sent. I just see an complex invoice print.

I can not understand what is order mirror in that example.

Obviously it is lack of my knowledge on english term "order mirror".  When googling that term I found several different things, and no one I can recognize in your example.

Thank you.

Regards,

Simo.
