I saw that Aleksander Czajczynski re-uploaded the hbcrypto.h to add support for some of Viktor's fork.
Could we actually add the contrib\hbcrypto from Viktor as well. This gives us the bcrypt support which is the modern way for encrypting data now.
control\hbplist.txt would need to be modified as well.
Thanks, Eric

I had made a merge request about this a long time ago, but it was not approved, and with all the other changes it might not be correct in any case by now.

Hello!

What is in Harbour 3.4 repo cannot be straightly added to 3.2 repo because of C compiler compatibility issues. Harbour 3.2  supports many more compilers.
Though yes, the recent header change is exactly for the purpose of  allowing borrowed "hbcrypto folder" to build.

Might have slight more patches in my repo:
https://github.com/alcz/harbour/tree/master/contrib/hbcrypto
over
https://github.com/vszakats/hb/tree/master/contrib/hbcrypto

When Eric supplied a pull request, the interest feedback from others was really low. It was hard to justify adding it for three people while breaking the default build for many others.

I have a sort of "modularized" nightly build in the making, that includes hbcrypto among other highlighted libraries, might that be more interesting?

Best regards, Aleksander

Thanks Aleksander. I am not certain about how this "modularized"  build would work but if this allows us to add that bcrypt function that would be great.
