Baltimore Area- Therapist Referral Partners

Hi! 

I work in Baltimore City and see clients in-person and INN with insurance (Blue Cross, Cigna, United). I'm going on maternity leave in early 2026 and looking to connect with other therapy providers who are licensed in Maryland (plus one client in VA), as I work to build my referral list and match clients with folks to help bridge the gap of my absence. 

A note that I am looking for providers who subscribe to the full 'drug use has been and always will be part of our world', with a focus on supporting/enhancing clients' autonomy and motivation for improved safety rather than ~Harm Reduction as a trendy path to abstience~. 

If this sounds like you, please let me know! I'm also open to meeting in person for coffee if anyone works in the DMV area.

Congrats first of all! Hope all goes smoothly with your leave! And if you don’t mind, I can post this on our HR therapists group. While we’re based in CA some are licensed in several states. Also a couple of us (me and Jeremy Prillwitz) are not licensed (though Masters level with tons of added training and experience) so can legally work all over the world…and we both do.

I'm happy to see clients and I have PSYPACT so can do teletherapy from Philadelphia. Just in case folks don't know here's what PSYPACT is.  The Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) is a mutual recognition interstate compact designed to facilitate the interstate practice of telepsychology and/or the temporary in-person, face-to-face practice of psychology....
