Congratulations are in order for Maris Usis and 19 co-authors for the recent publication of the following peer reviewed paper in Frontiers in Astronomy and Space Sciences:

"Detecting changes in along-path HF propagation during the April 2024 total solar eclipse with radio amateurs and low-cost instrumentation"

In a nutshell, the CWRU team deployed GPS time-synced radio receivers, tuned to CHU, during the April 8, 2024 eclipse.  The receivers recorded changes in signal level which occurred during the eclipse transit. Credit is given to the amateur radio and citizen science communities for participating in the experiment.

The full abstract and a link to the paper are available from the Publications pages on the hamsci.org website:  hamsci.org/publications/detecting-changes-along-path-hf-propagation-during-april-2024-total-solar-eclipse-radio
