HamSCIENCE Zoom Plans for Thursday, 1 May, 2000 UTC

Hello All - We don't have a speaker, program or in-depth discussion planned for this week's HamSCIEnce Zoom time slot.

That said, I do plan to open the Zoom call at the usual time (2000 UTC, 4PM Eastern) to talk about current events:

1.  HamSCI Meteor Scatter QSO Party:  Finalize business card design (deadline:  Friday, May 2nd!)
   
2. Review new hamsci.org/msqp "What it is and how to participate" page
3. Any other discussion related to the MSQP - Operating topics, Hamvention flyer, possible video, etc.
4. Dayton/Xenia Hamvention:  Booth talks?  Banners and posters for the HamSCI booth?  Other planning (Hamvention is only two weeks away!!!!!!)

Our plan for the HamSCIENCE time slot is to formally pause it for the summer, after May 1st, restarting in the early fall, perhaps mid-September.  Over the summer, we will have occasional Zoom sessions regarding the MSQP.  Recall that the Perseid shower will be peaking August 12-13, so we'll want to be prepared for that celestial event. Announcements will be made here, as always.

I would like to say 'Thank You' to all of the speakers, contributors, listeners and YouTube watchers for your participation this past 'season'.  I hope the citizen scientists feel that it has been both worthwhile and rewarding to participate.  And to those who participate as professionals - researchers, academics, scientists, mathematicians - we appreciate your guidance and wisdom.  There is much more to be accomplished...as a community.
