(Job) AYUB Nabi finally Cried to Allah Who restored his property with twice as much as he had before and lived to a good old age and saw four generations of descendants due to his pattern of humility, patience and faith in Allah. ஆயுப் நபி இறுதியாக அல்லாஹ்விடம் அழுதார், அவர் முன்பு இருந்ததை விட இரண்டு மடங்கு அதிகமாக தனது சொத்தை மீட்டெடுத்து, ஒரு நல்ல முதுமையில் வாழ்ந்து, அல்லாஹ்வின் மீதான பணிவு, பொறுமை மற்றும் நம்பிக்கை ஆகியவற்றின் காரணமாக நான்கு தலைமுறை சந்ததியினரைக் கண்டார்.
(අයෝබ්) නබි අවසානයේදී අල්ලාහ්ට ඇුවා වැලපුණේ ඔහු කලින් තිබූ දෙගුණයකටත් වඩා තම දේපළ යථා තත්වයට පත් කර, මහලු විය දක්වා ජීවත් වූ අතර, ඔහුගේ නිහතමානිකම, ඉවසීම සහ අල්ලාහ් කෙරෙහි ඇදහිල්ල නිසා පරම්පරා හතරක් පැවත එන්නන්ය Others who had cried: Zun-nun(Yunus) Zakariya, Maryam cried (in her anguish): Noah when he cried, then Moses cried to his Lord:
21:83-And (remember) Job when he cried to his Lord "Truly distress has seized me but Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful." 2739
21:83. அய்யூபையும் (நாம் நம்முடைய தூதராக அனுப்பி வைத்தோம்.) அவர் தன் இறைவனை நோக்கி "நிச்சயமாக நோய் என்னைப் பிடித்துக் கொண்டது. (அதை நீ நீக்கிவிடு.) நீயோ கிருபையாளர்களிலெல்லாம் மகா கிருபையாளன்" என்று பிரார்த்தனை செய்தார்.
21:84-So We listened to him: We removed the distress that was on him and We restored his people to him and doubled their number as a Grace from Ourselves and a thing for commemoration for all who serve Us. 2740
He was a prosperous man , suffers from a number of calamities, his cattle are destroyed, his servants slain, his family crushed under his roof, had loathsome sores from head to foot and loses his peace of mind, but Allah subsequently restored his property with twice as much as he had before. He had seven sons and three daughters and lived to a good old age and saw four generations of descendants. He was a great Prophet of Allah. He is the pattern of humility, patience and faith in Allah and conquered evil with these weapons.(See notes 2739 and 2740.)

ඔහු සමෘද්ධිමත් මිනිසෙකි, විපත් ගණනාවකින් පීඩා විඳිති, ඔහුගේ ගවයන් විනාශ වී ඇත, ඔහුගේ සේවකයන් මරා දමා ඇත, ඔහුගේ පවුල ඔහුගේ වහලය යටට පොඩි වී ඇත, හිස සිට පාදය දක්වා පිළිකුල් සහගත තුවාල ඇති අතර ඔහුගේ මනසේ සාමය නැති වී ගියේය, නමුත් අල්ලාහ් පසුව ඔහුගේ දේපළ යථා තත්වයට පත් කළේය ඔහුට පෙර මෙන් දෙගුණයක්. ඔහුට පුතුන් හත්දෙනෙකු හා දියණියන් තිදෙනෙකු සිටි අතර ඔහු මහලු විය දක්වා ජීවත් වූ අතර පරම්පරා හතරක් පැවත එන්නන් දුටුවේය. ඔහු අල්ලාහ්ගේ ශ්රේෂ් අනාගතවක්තෘවරයෙකි. ඔහු නිහතමානිකම, ඉවසීම සහ අල්ලාහ් කෙරෙහි ඇදහිල්ලේ රටාව වන අතර මෙම ආයුධවලින් නපුර ජය ගත්තේය. 21:84. ஆகவே, நாம் அவருடைய பிரார்த்தனையை அங்கீகரித்து, அவரைப் பீடித்திருந்த நோயையும் நீக்கி, அவருடைய குடும்பத்தையும் நாம் அவருக்கு அளித்து, நம் அருளால் பின்னும் அதைப் போன்ற தொகையினரையும் அவருக்குக் (குடும்பமாகக்) கொடுத்தோம். இஃது (எனக்குப் பயந்து) என்னை வணங்கு லிபவர்களுக்கு(ம் என்னிடம் பிரார்த்தனை செய்பவர்களுக்கும்) நல்லுணர்ச்சியூட்டக் கூடியதாக இருக்கிறது.
21:87-And remember Zun-nun when he departed in wrath: he imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through the depths of darkness "There is no god but Thou: Glory to Thee: I was indeed wrong!" 2744
21:87. (யூனுஸ் நபியாகிய) துன்னூனையும் (நம்முடைய தூதராக ஆக்கினோம்.) அவர் கோபமாகச் சென்ற சமயத்தில் நாம் அவரைப் பிடித்துக் கொள்ள மாட்டோம் என்று எண்ணிக்கொண்டார். (ஆதலால், அவரை ஒரு மீன் விழுங்கும்படிச் செய்து மீன் வயிற்றின்) இருளிலிருந்த அவர் (நம்மை நோக்கி) "உன்னைத் தவிர வணக்கத்திற்குரிய இறைவன் வேறொருவனும் இல்லை. நீ மிகப் பரிசுத்தமானவன். நிச்சயமாக நானோ அநியாயக்காரர்களில் ஒருவனாகிவிட்டேன். (என்னை மன்னித்து அருள் புரிவாயாக!)" என்று பிரார்த்தனை செய்தார்.
21:88-So We listened to him: and delivered him from distress: and thus do We deliver those who have faith.
21:88. நாம் அவருடைய பிரார்த்தனையை அங்கீகரித்து (அவருடைய மிக்க துயரமான) கஷ்டத்திலிருந்தும் அவரை நாம் பாதுகாத்துக் கொண்டோம். இவ்வாறே, (கஷ்டத்தில் சிக்கி நம்மிடம் பிரார்த்தனை செய்யும்) நம்பிக்கையாளர்களையும் நாம் பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்வோம்.
21:89-And (remember) Zakariya when he cried to his Lord: "O my Lord! leave me not without offspring though Thou art the best of inheritors. 2745 2746
21:89. ஜகரிய்யாவையும் (தூதராக அனுப்பி வைத்தோம்.) அவர் தன் இறைவனை நோக்கி "என் இறைவனே! நீ என்னை(ச் சந்ததியற்ற) தனித்தவனாக ஆக்கிவிடாதே! நீயோ வாரிசாகக்கூடிய வர்களில் மிக்க மேலானவன்" என்று பிரார்த்தனை செய்த சமயத்தில்,
21:92-Verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore serve Me (and no other). 2749
21:92. (நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) நீங்கள் அனைவரும் (ஒரே மார்க்கத்தைப் பின்பற்ற வேண்டிய) ஒரே வகுப்பார்தான். (இதில் ஜாதி வேற்றுமை கிடையாது.) உங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் இறைவன் நான் ஒருவனே! ஆகவே, என்னையே நீங்கள் வணங்குங்கள்.
21:93-But (later generations) cut off their affair (of unity) one from another: (yet) will they all return to Us. 2750
21:93. எனினும் இவர்கள் தங்களுக்குள் (வேறுபட்டு) பல பிரிவுகளாக பிரிந்துவிட்டனர். இவர்கள் அனைவரும் நம்மிடம் திரும்ப வரக்கூடியவர்கள்தான்.
21:94-Whoever works any act of righteousness and has Faith his endeavor will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favor. 2751
21:94. ஆகவே, (இவர்களில்) எவர்கள் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு நற்செயல்களைச் செய்கின்றார்களோ அவர்களுடைய முயற்சி வீணாகிவிடாது. நிச்சயமாக நாம் அவைகளைப் பதிவு செய்து வருகிறோம்.
21:96-Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier) and they swiftly swarm from every hill. 2753
21:96. யஃஜூஜ், மஃஜூஜ் கூட்டத்திற்கு வழி திறக்கப்பட்டால் அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு மேட்டிலிருந்தும் (தண்ணீர் பாய்ந்து ஓடுவதைப் போல்) வழிந்து (உலகின் பல பாகங்களிலும் அதி சீக்கிரத்தில் பரவி) விடுவார்கள்.
21:97-Then will the True Promise draw nigh (of fulfillment): then behold! the eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly stare in horror: "Ah! woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay we truly did wrong!" 2754
21:97. (உலக முடிவு பற்றிய) உண்மையான வாக்குறுதி நெருங்கிவிட்டது. (அது வரும் பட்சத்தில் அதைக் காணும்) நிராகரிப்பவர்களின் கண்கள் திறந்தது திறந்தவாறே இருக்கும். (அன்றி அவர்கள்) "எங்களுக்குக் கேடுதான். நிச்சயமாக நாங்கள் இதனைப்பற்றி கவலையற்றவர்களாக இருந்தோமே! எங்களுக்கு நாங்களே தீங்கிழைத்துக் கொண்டோமே!" (என்று புலம்புவார்கள்).
21:98:Verily ye (Unbelievers) and the (false) gods that ye worship besides Allah are (but) fuel for Hell! To it will ye (surely) come!
21:98. (அச்சமயம் அவர்களை நோக்கி) "நிச்சயமாக நீங்களும், நீங்கள் வணங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்த அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவைகளும் நரகத்தின் எரிகட்டையாகி விட்டீர்கள். நீங்கள் அனைவரும் அங்கு செல்ல வேண்டியவர்கள்தாம்" (என்று கூறப்படும்).
22:1-O mankind! fear your Lord! For the convulsion of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a thing terrible! 2770
22:1. மனிதர்களே! நீங்கள் உங்கள் இறைவனுக்குப் பயப்படுங்கள். நிச்சயமாக விசாரணை நாளின் அதிர்ச்சி மிக்க கடுமையானது.
22:2-The Day ye shall see it every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling-babe and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shalt see mankind as in a drunken riot yet not drunk: but dreadful will be the Wrath of Allah. 2771
22:2. அந்நாளில் பாலூட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு தாயும், தான் ஊட்டும் குழந்தையை மறந்து விடுவதையும் ஒவ்வொரு கர்ப்பினிப் பெண்ணிண் கருவும் சிதைந்து விடுவதையும் நீங்கள் காண்பீர்கள். (நபியே!) மனிதர்களை மதி மயங்கியவர்களாக நீங்கள் காண்பீர்கள். அவர்கள் (மதியிழக்கும் காரணம்) போதையினாலன்று. அல்லாஹ்வுடைய வேதனை மிக்க கடினமானது. (அதனைக் கண்டு திடுக்கிட்டு அவர்கள் மதியிழந்து விடுவார்கள்.)
22:3-And yet among men there are such as dispute about Allah without knowledge and follow every evil one obstinate in rebellion!
22:3. மனிதர்களில் பலர் ஏதும் அறியாமலிருந்துகொண்டே அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றித் தர்க்கித்து வரம்பு மீறும் ஷைத்தான்களையே பின்பற்றுகின்றனர்.
22:4-About the (Evil One) it is decreed that whoever turns to him for friendship him will he lead astray and he will guide him to the Penalty of the Fire. 2772
22:4. எவன் (ஷைத்தானாகிய) அவனை சிநேகிதனாக எடுத்துக் கொள்கிறானோ அவன் அவனை நிச்சயமாக வழிகெடுத்துக் கொடிய வேதனையின் பக்கமே செலுத்திவிடுவான் என்று விதிக்கப்பட்டு விட்டது.
22:5-O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection (consider) that We created you out of dust then out of sperm then out of a leech-like clot then out a morsel of flesh partly formed and partly unformed in order that We may manifest (Our Power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term then do We bring you out as babes then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die and some are sent back to the feeblest old age so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further) thou seest the earth barren and lifeless but when We pour down rain on it it is stirred (to life) it swells and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs). 2773 2774 2775 2776 2777
22:5. மனிதர்களே! (மறுமையில் உங்களுக்கு உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்புவதைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் சந்தேகம் கொண்டால் (உங்களை முதலில் எவ்வாறு படைத்தோம் என்பதைக் கவனியுங்கள்.) நிச்சயமாக நாம் உங்களை (உங்கள் மூலப் பிதாவாகிய ஆதமை) மண்ணில் இருந்தே (படைத்துப்) பின்னர் இந்திரியத் துளியிலிருந்து, பின்னர் அதனை ஓர் இரத்தக் கட்டியாகவும், பின்னர் (அதனை) குறைவடிவ அல்லது முழு வடிவ மாமிசப் பிண்டமாகவும் (நாம் உற்பத்தி செய்கிறோம். நம்முடைய வல்லமையை) உங்களுக்குத் தெளிவாக்கும் பொருட்டே (இவ்வாறு படிப்படியாகப் பல மாறுதல்களை அடைய) ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட காலம் வரையில் தங்கி இருக்கும்படி செய்கிறோம். பின்னர், உங்களைச் சிசுக்களாக வெளிப்படுத்தி நீங்கள் உங்கள் வாலிபத்தை அடையும்படிச் செய்கிறோம். (இதற்கிடையில்) இறந்து விடுபவர்களும் உங்களில் பலர் இருக்கின்றனர். (அல்லது வாழ்ந்து) அனைத்தையும் அறிந்த பின்னர் ஒன்றுமே அறியாதவர்களைப்போல் ஆகிவிடக் கூடிய தள்ளாத வயது வரையில் விட்டு வைக்கப்படுபவர்களும் உங்களில் இருக்கின்றனர். (மனிதனே!) பூமி (புற்பூண்டு ஏதுமின்றி) வறண்டு இருப்பதை நீ காணவில்லையா? அதன் மீது நாம் மழையை பொழியச் செய்தால், அது பசுமையாகி வளர்ந்து அழகான பற்பல வகை (ஜோடி ஜோடி)யான உயர்ந்த புற்பூண்டுகளை முளைப்பிக்கிறது.
22:7-7And verily the Hour will come: there can be no doubt about it or about (the fact) that Allah will raise up all who are in the graves.
22:7. விசாரணைக் காலம் நிச்சயமாக வரக்கூடியது. அதில் சந்தேகமேயில்லை. (அந்நாளில்) சமாதிகளில் (புதைந்து) கிடப்பவர்களை நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (உயிர் கொடுத்து) எழுப்புவா
22:8-Yet there is among men such a one as disputes about Allah without knowledge without guidance and without a Book of Enlightenment 2779
22:8. மனிதர்களில் பலர் (இருக்கின்றனர். அவர்கள்) யாதொரு கல்வியும், யாதொரு தர்க்கரீதியான ஆதாரமும், யாதொரு வேத நூலின் தெளிவான ஆதாரமும் இல்லாமலே அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றித் தர்க்கிக்கின்றனர்.
22:9-(Disdainfully) bending his side in order to (lead men) astray from the Path of Allah; for him there is disgrace in this life and on the Day of Judgment we shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (Fire). 2780
22:9. அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையிலிருந்து (மக்களைத்) திருப்பிவிடும் பொருட்டு தன் கழுத்தை திருப்பியவர்களாக (கர்வம் கொண்டு இவ்வாறு தர்க்கிக்கின்றனர்.) இம்மையில் அவர்களுக்கு இழிவுதான். மறுமை நாளிலோ நெருப்பின் வேதனையை அவர்கள் சுவைக்கும்படிச் செய்வோம்.
22:10-(It will be said): "This is because of the deeds which thy hands sent forth for verily Allah is not unjust to His servants. 2781
22:10. (அங்கு அவர்களை நோக்கிக் கூறப்படும்:) இவை ஏற்கனவே உங்கள் கைகள் செய்தனுப்பிய செயல்களின் பலன்தான். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் தன் அடியார்களில் எவருக்கும் (தண்டனையைக் கூட்டியோ, நன்மையைக் குறைத்தோ) அநியாயம் செய்பவனன்று.
22:11-There are among men some who serve Allah as it were on the verge: if good befalls them they are therewith well content; but if a trial comes to them they turn on their faces: they lose both this world and the Hereafter: that is loss for all to see! 2782
22:12-They call on such deities besides Allah as can neither hurt nor profit them: that is straying far indeed (from the Way)! 2783
22:11. மனிதரில் பலர் (மதில் மேல் பூனையைப் போல்) உறுதியற்ற நிலைமையில் அல்லாஹ்வை வணங்குகின்றனர். அவர்கள் யாதொரு நன்மை அடையும் பட்சத்தில் அதைக்கொண்டு திருப்தி அடைகின்றனர். அவர்களுக்கு யாதொரு தீங்கேற்பட்டாலோ அவர்கள் தங்கள் முகத்தை (அல்லாஹ்வை விட்டும்) திருப்பிக் கொள்கின்றனர். இவர்கள் இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும் நஷ்டமடைந்து விட்டனர். இதுதான் (சந்தேகமற்ற) தெளிவான பெரும் நஷ்டமாகும்.
22:13-(Perhaps) they call on one whose hurt is nearer than his profit: evil indeed is the patron and evil the companion (for help)! 2784
22:13. நன்மை ஏற்படுவதை விட தீங்கு ஏற்படுவது எவர்களால் சாத்தியமாக இருக்கிறதோ அவர்களை இவர்கள் (தங்கள் பாதுகாவலர்கள் என) அழைக்கின்றனர். (இவர்களுடைய) அந்த பாதுகாவலர்களும் கெட்டார்கள்; அவர்களை அண்டி நிற்கும் இவர்களும் கெட்டார்கள்.
22:26-Behold! We gave the site to Abraham of the (Sacred) House (saying): "Associate not any thing (in worship) with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round or stand up or bow or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). 2797 2798
22:26. (நபியே!) இப்ராஹீமை நம்முடைய வீட்டின் சமீபமாக வசிக்கும்படிச் செய்து (அவரை நோக்கி) "நீங்கள் எனக்கு எவரையும் இணையாக்காதீர்கள். என்னுடைய (இந்த) வீட்டை (தவாஃப்) சுற்றி வருபவர்களுக்கும், அதில் நின்று, குனிந்து, சிரம் பணிந்து தொழுபவர்களுக்கும் அதனைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்கி வையுங்கள்" என்று நாம் கூறிய சமயத்தில்,
22:31-Being true in faith to Allah and never assigning partners to Him: if anyone assigns partners to Allah he is as if he had fallen from heaven and been snatched up by birds or the wind had swooped (like a bird on its prey) and thrown him into a far-distant place. 2806
22:31. அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணை வைக்காது, அவன் ஒருவனுக்கே முற்றிலும் தலைசாய்த்து விடுங்கள். எவன் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு இணை வைக்கின்றானோ, அவன் வானத்திலிருந்து (முகங்குப்புற) விழுந்தவனைப் போலாவான். அவனை (காகம், கழுகு போன்ற) பறவைகள் இறாய்ந்துக் கொண்டு போய்விடும் அல்லது காற்று வெகு தூரத்திற்கு அடித்துக்கொண்டு சென்றுவிடும்.
22:35-To those whose hearts when Allah is mentioned are filled with fear who show patient perseverance over their afflictions keep up regular prayer and spend (in charity) out of what we have bestowed upon them. 2812
22:35. அவர்கள் எத்தகையவர்கள் என்றால், அல்லாஹ்வுடைய திருப்பெயர் கூறப்பட்டால் அவர்களுடைய உள்ளங்கள் பயந்து நடுங்கிவிடும். அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்படும் கஷ்டங்களைப் பொறுமையுடன் சகித்துக்கொள்வார்கள். தொழுகையையும் கடைப்பிடிப்பார்கள். நாம் அவர்களுக்கு அளித்தவைகளில் தானமும் செய்வார்கள்
22:39-To those against whom war is made permission is given (to fight) because they are wronged and verily Allah is Most powerful for their aid 2816
22:39. (நிராகரிப்பவர்களால்) அநியாயத்தில் சிக்கி, போருக்கு நிர்பந்திக்கப்பட்ட (நம்பிக்கை கொண்ட)வர்களுக்கு அவர்களை எதிர்த்து போர் புரிய அனுமதியளிக்கப்பட்டு விட்டது. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் இவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்ய பேராற்றலுடையவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.
22:62-That is because Allah He is the Reality: and those besides Him whom they invoke they are but vain Falsehood: verily Allah is He Most High Most Great. 2842 2843
22:62. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்தான் உண்மையானவன். நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி (இறைவனென) அழைப்பவை யாவும் பொய்யானவை ஆகும் (என்பதும்) நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்தான் உயர்ந்தவன், (மேலானவன்,) மகா பெரியவன் (என்பதும் இதற்குக் காரணமாகும்).
22:66-It is He Who gave you life will cause you to die and will again give you life: truly man is a most ungrateful creature!
22:66. அவன்தான் உங்களை உயிர்ப்பித்தான். அவன்தான் உங்களை மரணிக்கச் செய்வான். பின்னும், அவனே உங்களை உயிர்ப்பிப்பான். எனினும், நிச்சயமாக மனிதன் மிக நன்றி கெட்டவனாக இருக்கிறான்.
22:67-To every People have we appointed rites and ceremonies which they must follow let them not then dispute with thee on the matter but do thou invite (them) to thy Lord: for thou art assuredly on the Right Way. 2848

(நபியே!) ஒவ்வொரு வகுப்பாருக்கும் (அந்தந்தக் காலத்திற்குத் தக்கவாறு) அவர்கள் வணங்குவதற்குரிய வழியை நாம் ஏற்படுத்தி இருந்தோம். ஆகவே, (உங்களுடைய காலத்தில் உங்களுக்கு) நாம் ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கும் வழியைப் பற்றி அவர்கள் உங்களுடன் தர்க்கம் செய்ய வேண்டாம். அன்றி, நீங்கள் அவர்களை உங்களுடைய இறைவன் (ஏற்படுத்திய வழியின்) பக்கம் அழையுங்கள். நிச்சயமாக நீங்கள் நேரான வழியில்தான் இருக்கின்றீர்கள்.
22:71-Yet they worship besides Allah things for which no authority has been sent down to them and of which they have (really) no knowledge: for those that do wrong there is no helper. 2852
22:71. (நபியே! நிராகரிப்பவர்களாகிய) அவர்கள் அல்லாஹ் அல்லாதவற்றை வணங்குகின்றனர். இதற்கு அவர்களிடம் (அல்லாஹ்) யாதொரு அத்தாட்சியும் அளிக்கவில்லை; அன்றி, அவர்களிடம் கல்வி சம்பந்தமான யாதொரு ஆதாரமும் இல்லை. இத்தகைய அநியாயக்காரர்களுக்கு (மறுமையில்) உதவி செய்பவர்கள் ஒருவருமிரார்.
22:73-O men! Here is a parable set forth! Listen to it! Those on whom besides Allah ye call cannot create (even) a fly if they all met together for the purpose! And if the fly should snatch away anything from them they would have no power to release it from the fly: feeble are those who petition and those whom they petition! 2855
22:73. மனிதர்களே! உங்களுக்கு ஓர் உதாரணம் கூறப்படுகிறது: அதனைச் செவி தாழ்த்திக் கேளுங்கள். அல்லாஹ் அல்லாத எவற்றை நீங்கள் (தெய்வங்களென) அழைக்கின்றீர்களோ அவை யாவும் ஒன்று சேர்ந்(து முயற்சித்)த போதிலும் ஓர் ஈயைக் கூட படைக்க முடியாது. (ஈயைப் படைப்பதென்ன!) ஒரு ஈ அவற்றினுடைய யாதொரு பொருளை எடுத்துக் கொண்டபோதிலும் அந்த ஈயிடமிருந்து அதனை விடுவிக்கவும் அவைகளால் முடியாது. (அவர்கள் தெய்வங்களென அழைக்கும்) அவை அவ்வளவு பலவீனமானவை! ஆகவே, அவற்றை(த் தெய்வங்களென) அழைப்பவர்களும் பலவீனமானவர்களே!
22:77-O ye who believe! bow down prostrate yourselves and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper. 2860( Sajada)
22:77. நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே! நீங்கள் குனிந்து சிரம் பணிந்து உங்கள் இறைவனை வணங்குங்கள். நன்மையே செய்து கொண்டிருங்கள். அதனால் நீங்கள் வெற்றியடையலாம்.
22:78-And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive (with sincerity and under discipline): He has chosen you and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims both before and in this (Revelation); that the Apostle may be a witness for you and ye be witnesses for mankind! 22:78. (நம்பிக்கையாளர்களே!) நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையில் முயற்சிக்க வேண்டியவாறு முயற்சியுங்கள். அவனே உங்களைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்(து மேன்மையாக்கி வைத்)திருக்கிறான். இந்த மார்க்கத்தில் அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு யாதொரு கஷ்டத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்தவில்லை. இது உங்கள் பிதாவாகிய இப்ராஹீமுடைய மார்க்கமாகும். அவர்தான் இதற்கு முன்னர் உங்களுக்கு முஸ்லிம்கள் எனப் பெயரிட்டவர். இ(வ்வேதத்)திலும் (அவ்வாறே உங்களுக்குப் பெயர் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதற்கு) நம்முடைய இத்தூதரே உங்களுக்குச் சாட்சியாக இருக்கிறார். நீங்கள் மற்ற மனிதர்களுக்கு சாட்சியாக இருங்கள். தொழுகையை கடைப்பிடித்தொழுகுங்கள்; ஜகாத்தும் கொடுத்து வாருங்கள். அல்லாஹ்வைப் பலமாகப் பிடித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள். அவன்தான் உங்களுடைய பாதுகாவலன் (பொறுப்பாளன்). அவனே சிறந்த பாதுகாவலன்; சிறந்த உதவியாளன்.

YA’JOOJ AND MA’JOOJ
During the reign of Eesa (Álayhis salaam) people will live an extremely
peaceful life filled with prosperity and abundance. Then the wall which
imprisones Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj will break and they will surge forth in large
numbers.
“But when Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are let loose and they rush headlong down
every hill”
WHO ARE’THE YA’JOOJ AND MA’JOOJ
Zul Qarnain (A.S.) who was a pious and just Ruler travelled to many lands
and conquered them, establishing justice and the Law of Allah therein. Allah
Ta’ala provided him with all forms of material strength through which he was
able to carry out his conquests and missions.
He once carried out a mission in three directions, the far west, the far
east, and then in a northerly direction. It was here that he came across a
tribe of people who complained to him about the tribes of Ya’iooj and
Ma’jooj which inhabited the land behind two huge mountains and often emerged
from behind these mountains to perpetrate acts of anarchy and plunder among
them. They requested Zul Qarnain (A.S.) to erect a barrier between
themselves and the tribes of Ya’jooi and Majooj so that they could be saved
from their atrocities. With the material strength at his disposal, Zul
Qarnain (A.S.) enlisted their physical labour and set about erecting a high
wall between the two mountains. The height of the wall or its exact length
is unknown. What is known is that the height of this wall reaches that of
the summit of both mountains. It is made with blocks or sheets of iron,
which is further strengthened with molten lead. In this manner Ya’jooj and
Ma’jooj are unable to scale the wall, or cross it except when it is the will
of Allah.
“And when the promise of my Rabb approaches, He will level it to dust”
(Quran 18:98)
They are situated in a land of ice which is hidden from our gazes and the
exact location of which is unknown. Though many interpretations do exist in
this respect, none of these can be said to be absolute.
Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are human beings and according to a narration they are
from the progeny of Yafith ibn Nooh (A.S.)
In a lengthy hadith by Hadhrat Nawwas ibn Sam’aan (R.A.) Rasulullah
(Sallallaahu Álayhi Wasallam) is reported to have said: “Allah will send
revelation upon Eesa (A.S.) that ‘Such a creation of mine is now going to
emerge that no power will be able to stop them. Therefore take my servants
and ascend the Mount of Toor’. Then Ya’jooi and Ma’jooj will emerge and
surge fourth in all their fury. When those from among them who constitute
the fomer part of their army pass the lake of Tiberias (which is in
Northern Palestine), they will drink up all the water of that lake and by
the time those that constitute the latter part of that same army pass the
lake, they will say, “There used to be water here (long ago). When they will
reach the Mount of Khamr in Jerusalem, they will arrogantly proclaim; “We
have conquered the people of the earth, now we will annihilate those in the
sky”.
So saying they will fire their arrows towards the sky. When the arrows
return to the ground they will be blood stained.
In the meantime Eesa (A.S.) will be on the Mount of Toor with his followers.
At that time the head of an ox will as valuable as is hundred dinars to you
in this day. (This indicates the scarcity of provisions).
Faced with these hardships, Eesa (A.S.) and his followers will make dua unto
Allah (to remove this calamity). As a result Allah will cause sores to
appear on the necks of each and every individual of these people which will
cause their death suddenly. When Eesa (A.S.) and his followers descend from
the Mount of Toor there will not be a single space on the land where the
dead rotting bodies of these people is not littered, giving off a horrendous
odour. Eesa (A.S.) and his followers will once more supplicate unto Allah as
a result of which Allah will send down huge birds whose necks will be as
thick as that of the necks of camels, and they will dump these bodies in a
place where Allah wills. (According to a narration by Tirmidhi, they will be
dumped at a place called Nahbal).
Allah Ta’ala will then send down a heavy rain, the waters of which will flow
in every part of the earth cleansing it thoroughly. It will rain for a
period of forty days. The Muslims will then burn the bows and arrows of
Ya’jooi and Ma’jooj for a period of seven years. Allah will order the earth
to yield forth its crops in abundance and there will be such blessing and
prosperity that one pomegranate will be sufficient for a whole group while
the peel thereof will suffice to cast a shadow over them. The milk of one
camel will be sufficient for many groups while one milk giving cow will be
sufficient for a whole tribe. One milk giving goat will be sufficient for a
whole family…” (Muslim)
Hadhrat Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi
Wasallam) said: “On the day of Qiyamah Allah will say to Adam (A.S.) to pick
out the Jahannamis from his entire progeny. Adam (A.S.) will ask: “O Rabb
who are they”? Allah will say: “Nine hundred and ninety nine of a thousand
are Jahannami while the one is a Jannati’. On hearing this the Sahaba were
overtaken by fear and they asked: “O Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)
who will that one Jannati be”? Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said:
“Do not grieve, the nine hundred and ninety nine will be Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj
while you will be the Jannati”. (i.e. your numbers in relation to them will
be one in a thousand). (Bukhari and Muslim)
Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Umar (R.A.) says that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi
Wasallam) said: “Allah Ta’ala divided mankind into ten parts. Nine tenths
constitute Ya’jooi and Ma’jooj while the remaining one tenth constitutes the
rest of mankind”. Hadhrat Zainab bint Jahsh (R.A.) says: “…once Rasulullah
(Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) awoke from such a sleep that his face was red
and these words were on his tongue,’ There is none worthy of worship but
Allah. Destruction is upon the Arabs on account of that evil which has come
close to them. Today a hole as big as this has opened up in the wall of
Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj and Rasulullah (SaliaJiahu Alayhi Wasallam) indicated
the size of the hole forming a ring with his index finger and thumb”.
(Bukhari and Muslim)
Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (R.A.) narrates that every day Ya’jooi and Ma’jooi
break (dig) through the wall erected by Zul Qarnain (A.S.) until they reach
the end of it to that extent that they can actually see the light on the
other side. They then return (home) saying that “We will break through
tomorrow. “But Allah Ta’ala causes the wall to revert to its original
thickness and the next day they start digging through the wall all over
again, and this process continues each day until as long as Allah wills them
to remain imprisoned. When Allah wishes them to be released, then at the end
of the day they will say, ‘If Allah wills, tomorrow we will break through”.
The following day they will find the wall as they had left it the previous
day (i.e. a will not have returned to its original state). and after
breaking the remaining part of it they will emerge”. (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Ibn
Majah)
Commenting on the above hadith, Allamah ibn Arabi says, Three miracles are
evident in this hadith:
1. It never occurs to these tribes that they must continue work during the
night. After all, they are in such large numbers that they can easily
delegate the work among themselves and work in shifts. But Allah does not
allow this thought to occur to them.
2. It does never occur to them that they can merely cross the mountains or
scale the wall, which they can do through the aid of equipment and
implements which they possess in large numbers. According to a narration by
Wahab ibn Munabbah it is known that these tribes are agriculturists and
artisians possessing various types of equipment.
3. The thought of saying “if Allah wills” never enters their minds and it
will only occur to them to say it when Allah wills that they be released.

YA’JOOJ AND MA’JOOJ
Yajooj and Majooj are two tribes which have been imprisoned behind a
mountain range by Zul Qarnain (alayhis salaam). They are a powerful and wild
people. They will emerge from their imprisonment during the reign of Nabi
Isaa (alayhis salaam), i.e. after the death of Imaam Mahdi (alayhis salaam).
After their emergence, they will wrought great destruction and anarchy on
earth. They are imprisoned in a land of ice, the location of which is hidden
from our gaze. Allah Ta’ala will finally eliminate them by means of a
natural disaster. After the destruction of Yajooj and Ma’jooj. Nabi Isaa
(alayhis salaam) will live for a period of forty years.
