Error running runsc for the first time

Despite following the documentation and set up the config for runsc, i get:
docker run --rm --runtime=runsc hello-world
docker: Error response from daemon: failed to create task for container: failed to create shim task: OCI runtime create failed: unable to retrieve OCI runtime error (open /var/run/desktop-containerd/daemon/io.containerd.runtime.v2.task/moby/f317ce7ecfa8f1885b131c7e9d877d10c16d986584186f6aaf7e89158752d107/log.json: no such file or directory): fork/exec /usr/local/bin/runsc: no such file or directory: unknown
