Hi, folks. I'm new to the group, and wanted to introduce myself.
I live on Vancouver Island, BC, and have been an (mostly) exclusive Guzzi rider for the past 15 years. I recently acquired a 1961 Galletto from the estate of a friend who passed away a few months ago. It was a bittersweet purchase, as I have always wanted one of these, and had many great conversations with my friend about these little gems, but never foresaw that it would be his Galletto that would eventually make it's way into my care. Still, I'm happy to have it, and look forward to spending time resurrecting it, as it has been in storage for many years.
As I have never owned a Galletto (or any Guzzi single, for that matter), I'm trying to learn more about these lovely little machines, and it was recommended that I join this group. I received quite a decent set of manuals (user, service, parts) with the bike, but, in my experience, nothing beats being exposed to a group of owners and suppliers who are actively working on and maintaining these bikes on a daily basis.
Looking forward to participating and learning as I go along.
Thanks,
Shaun
