Coincidence. After years of dreaming, and 18 months trying to sell my 750 SFC which is at last sold, I've just bought  a get on it and ride Rapide which I'm going to pick up in 10 days time.
I recommend you look in the UK, prices are rock bottom there.

Not rock-bottom, they will continue to go down as the oldies fall off their perches

Maybe. Put another way, cheaper in the UK than most if not all places.

There were a few Vincents but they are mostly "finished". If you've got to have a project then there are better places to hunt. That said the prices were all down, 40-50% of what might traditionally be expected so picking up a completed bike will put you dollars ahead in the end.
I expect in 3-5 years things will trend up again as the younger guys coming in develop tastes for older bikes. Right now the late 70's and into 80's are doing the best. Our job is to get the youngsters interested in mechanical things overall.

Thx guys. Yes, a completed bike makes more sense. But for me, the restoration is the fun part.  And yes I’ve been looking in the UK I’ve imported a few bikes.  The exchange rate isn’t the best and I’m concerned about any tariffs…..

This one seems to good to be true, a Rapide for £6,750.  A Google reverse image search doesn't show up the same images elsewhere, but it still looks suspicious to me.
This is one of the selling sites over here in the UK.
