Fellow VIS/NIR group members,

There will be a VIS/NIR discussion on Thursday 26 March at 17:15 (local time) following agency report. (see agenda). I would like to extend the invitation to online attendees

Thanks for all who presented during VIS/NIR session, they were very informative
We did not have a chance for a discussion during the VIS/NIR session

I would like to discuss the following topics

• Future web meetings, I suggest ray-matching algorithms, DCC ATBDs, new SBAFs from DESIS, ENMAP, desert PICS algorithms, vicarious calibration during satellite drifting. All suggestions are welcome. Also, looking for methodology (ray-matching, PICS, etc) lead volunteers

• SWIR Band DCC ATBDs, Raj Bhatt is working on the SWIR band ATBD
• VIS/NIR band DCC ATBD, we can start with EUMETSAT (Seb's version), hash out detail in future web meetings. I will also resurrect the paper I had in progress

• GSICS dashboard and products

thanks
Dave

Dear Dave, dear all,

thanks again for providing the opportunity to present EnMAP and DESIS to the wider GSICS community, and the interest in the data reg. PICS & Lunar characterization, as well as the generation of SBAFs (a topic we’re also working on in context of other projects).

For the VIS/NIR discussions on Thursday, unfortunately none of us can join.

But please keep us in the loop, and we are happy to support GSICS activities – so feel free to contact us reg. next steps!

Best regards from DLR,

Emiliano, Miguel and Martin – for the EnMAP and DESIS Ground Segments
