grpc message size

Hi,

I was comparing the size result transferred over network between grpc and web api. 

If you go to chrome devtools then network, the grpc is always in 4.3 MB transferred over network, while in web api, it is only 267 kb transferred over network.

if you can enlighten me on this one.

Do you mean that your proto message being sent via the grpc-web RPC call is only supposed to be 267kb big, but in the networks tab, it showed that 4.3Mb is being transferred? Did you isolate only that particular network request that represents your particular RPC? You can examine the request and that should be a base64-encoded string that's pretty closed to the base64 representation of your request proto object. 

We need more details on this.
