Support additional different platforms

Hi all!

There is a PR for adding Solaris support in gRPC ( https://github.com/grpc/grpc/pull/15926 ). Is there a chance for such support to be merged? I fully understand the maintainers don't want to be burdened with a platform they have no interest in. However we could add a big fat warning that the platform itself is unsupported.

Hi all,

The issue is the same one that Jan brought up on an earlier Solaris support PR: "is there a way to setup automated testing for this? If not, it is likely that the build will get broken soon. Note that our test farm doesn't provide any solaris machines to test with." We're not in a position to support platforms for which we have no testing capability. Perhaps folks who need Solaris or AIX support can find a way to provide a testing facility? I don't see this making forward progress without that, at the bare minimum.
