Yes, that build was supposed to correct that issue. I guess that my method for verifying it was incorrect. It looks like that x64,node,linux link goes to a list of tarballs. Which of those tarballs did you use?

My os is: centos-release-6-8.el6.centos.12.3.x86_64

If that is the wrong one, perhaps you can send or direct me to the right one?

I see the problem now. The link you clicked surprisingly goes to the artifacts from the latest build, not that specific build. To get the file from that branch, you should go to https://grpc-testing.appspot.com/view/Artifacts/job/gRPC_build_artifacts/2317/architecture=x64,language=node,platform=linux/.
