GRPC C++ do not support IPs in SSL certificates

Hi,

As per this issue https://github.com/grpc/grpc/issues/2691, GRPC do not support IPs in SSL certificates but it is answered in 2015. 

May I know the current status of this? Did we add any new features in this regard to support IPs in SSL certificates?
