Calling gRPC Client from an External Django Application

I am following the post with link:

Is there a way to call this gRPC client from an external Django/Flask project? The example shows a Flask app that's integrated with the gRPC code in the same project but I wish to decouple these 2 and deploy them independently. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Are you able to use the examples shown here to write an independent gRPC server?
