This link says "gRPC - now with easy installation". That statement is false for C++, the most important of all. When will you make it easier to install gRPC for C++? Do you have this on your roadmap? Don't you think it is about time?

Can you describe what you found hard about it? What would you add?

I tried using cmake to install and it says something about cx compiler missing. I don't know what that means.

Perhaps a more detailed step by step for ultra noobs would suffice.

Forgive my jumping in here, but grpc is a tool targeted at developers, so I think a minimum of knowledge of build and development tools can be expected (as opposed to "ultra noobs").

That being said, I agree that the whole build logic can be improved (notably its documentation). But to understand where to put efforts, it would be useful to raise specific issues (or ask specific questions), rather than broad statements such as "doesn't work" or "something about cx compiler".

Sounds like it can't find your c++ compiler?

If you are an ultra-noob, that doesn’t fully understand the dynamic nature of C++ build systems and dependencies, you should probably start with a simpler system, like Go or Java - get it working there to understand the concepts, then move on to C++ if needed.
