Node - Access to TLS client certificate server side

Hi All,

I would like to be able to identify the client calling my gRPC server and potentially perform additional validation based on the certificate used by the client.

This doesn't seem to be possible using the grpc node module. 

I found a similar issue that seems to have been addressed for the go version. https://github.com/grpc/grpc-go/issues/111

Does anyone have any experience/suggestions of how to go about achieving this?

Currently this feature is not available in the Node library. There is an open PR working towards implementing it (https://github.com/grpc/grpc-node/pull/508), but it is not complete and that work has not been prioritized recently.
