G&G Peoples,

Somehow it is already our last week of regular season games, and it's another double-header in Silver Spring! We already have 9 people signed up, so it's "way on" as the G&G elders say. I'm not sure who we're playing, but I'm sure many of them will try hard.

Since it's our last weekend and the weather looks beautiful (just guessing, haven't checked at all), I'm hoping a few more people will find some leftover beating piece of their charcoal hearts to show up and support this storied team.

These are the last two games of the season before we really turn up for the playoffs. Last week Cole helped set Graham up with a tuxedo fitting, and I don't think I'm being too forward here to say that he will do the same for anyone else who needs it.

Tom that’s exactly right. I’ll be late because I need to take my family to the farmers market beforehand, because I am a family man first and foremost. 

But I still have an enormous amount of self-loathing that drives me to constantly prove myself against ever-declining competition. See you all Saturday!

After the game, as we were taking off our cleats and marveling at the beautiful babies, we overheard someone on the other team say, “this extends my WAFC losing streak to nine games.” We have put an indelible mark of shame on someone else. We are sitting at 9 for 3 games. I believe Jessie is bringing her BF and she hasn’t marked her own attendance yet (shame!) so that puts us at 11. Molly I know you can’t officially rsvp, but can you make it?

The games are at the polo fields, so it’s way more convenient than fairfax for everyone on the team - no excuses!
