Comrades,

Last week we showed up with far more beer than players, I was proud. It was a beautiful day that resulted in a loss, a win, and the recruitment of a new player! Welcome to the team Molly, I’m so sorry.

Tomorrow (Saturday) we have two games at Sligo @10am & noon against other teams who will probably try harder than us. Games at Sligo are a double-edged sword, as it means our suburban dwelling swine like bmarsh can show up - but people from DC will have to listen to Cole talk about his Tesla the whole drive up. Please use this thread to coordinate carpooling.

There are already 10 people signed up, which means it’s way on. Unfortunately I will not be there this weekend as I have to do wedding shit in Boston - so please win at least one game or I have to stop being sarcastic and actively unhelpful on the captains thread.

tl;dr - games @10am & 12 on Sligo #21. Bring a dark, light, water, and beer.

Xoxo,

In classic Michael fashion he is listed as one of the 10 attendees...

Fair cole, fair. I just updated my attendance and we’re at 10 still. Nerd. Dog roll-up chaser.

Fun times today. Did anyone happen to pick up a very large blue water bottle with a grit sticker on it? Gotta remember to pick up my belongings... Thanks all!

Haha. They are from Grit ‘15/‘16 I think… so long gone.  Another reason I hope to find my water bottle!

Team - I’m so proud that y’all won both games AND denied entry to people we didn’t want to play with. Brilliant.

Also, Jessie - one of the other captains found 4, I let them know the grit one was ours

Cheers,
Radio

I have located my water bottle (none of those pictured above). Thanks all though! You clearly demonstrated your commitment to my hydration! Much appreciated!

Great wins all around--both against teams and against lost water bottles. JD, I hope your water bottle was either a) a tecate or b) full of tecate. But either way, it doesn't mean it can't be c) eventually full of tecate.

We probably have games next week, they are probably in Maryland, and we can figure the rest out later.
