Hi All,

Can someone tell me how do I drop the whole graph I created?

vertices - 0.6Million
Edges - 3.4 Million

When I am executing g.V().drop() via gremlin, it's hung for many hours and didn't perform anything even after force terminating.

Thanks,
Ashwin

Hi Ashwin, some advice on how to do this was recently posted on SO.

I saw that SO post - i guess you could limit() drop. seems like maybe for a graph of large size though it would be better to automate just dropping the instance:

Hi Stephen. That's a good observation. For a large graph creating a new instance is probably the fastest way to go.

Cheers,

Thanks Kevin and Stephen.. I will use that gremlin code. As far as terminating instance, If we terminate we need to relaunch but I agree that it will be faster.
