Bonjour à tous,
Hello everyone,

I’m trying to get to grips with Gregorio. I’m taking it slowly, to try and familiarise myself with the syntax and the various options I’m discovering as I go along.

I have a first question: is there an option that allows the staff to end after the last note without the lines continuing to the end of the line?

To be more specific, I have this musical example (GABC and PDF files attached) and I’d like the staff to stop after the half-bar line.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has done such an extraordinary job in enabling us to compose beautiful gregorian chant scores with Gregorio.

Salve,

Gregorio always occupies all of the horizontal space available to it.
You can restrict the horizontal space available to it by calling it inside a latex minipage, or inside a latex table cell, or inside a latex parallel-columns environment.

If I am not mistaken, is this not what \gresetlastline{trimmed} does?

It is, but it is unlikely Solesmes already has 6.2.0 - Fr. Emmanuel would usefully tell us what version he is running.
