Hi, I would like to place a fermata above a note (as in the long at Merbecke's verse endings).  Is this possible in GABC, maybe through inserted code?

Hi,

I know how I would do it, but I can’t say if it’s the best practice: I would change the SemicirculusReversus glyph in the greciliae font (or whatever font you use if you changed it), to put a Fermata sign in its place, and then use the r5 shape modifier in the GABC e.g (gvr5)

In Christo,
Matthias

Thanks, Matthias.  Now I'm learning about glyph modification!
