The adoption of the cruel and ugly path of annihilation of journalism of courage, truth and public welfare (लोकसंग्रह) is an outcome of the poverty of consciousness and poverty of sense of beauty. There is no doubt that this path has been paved by the likes of 185 dollar Indian billionaires and their collaborators who wish to "naturalise" extreme inequality, farmer's suicide, insectageddon and ecocide by commodifying journalists, teachers, doctors, law makers, lawyers, civil servants and  nature in their naked lust for profit at any human and environmental cost. Let us explore a measured ethical and moral response to retrieve whatever could be retrieved in order to ensure that good sense prevails over unreasonable common sense. पंचतंत्र का एक श्लोक हैं जिसका निहितार्थ हैं- विद्वान लोग विपत्ति काल में सर्वनाश से जो कुछ बचा लेते हैं, उसी से पुनः सृजन करते हैं। सर्वनाश को स्वीकार करना मुश्किल है। 

(सर्व-नाशे समुत्पन्ने अर्धं त्यजति पण्डितः।

अर्धेन कुरुते कार्यं सर्व-नाशो हि दुःसहः॥)
