Mysterious case

Aadhaar related RTI case on non-disclosure of foreign firms contracts with UIDAI listed for hearing today in Delhi High Court before Justice Pratibha Singh. Last listed on Oct 7, 2022 before Justice Yashwant Varma. 17 hearings since 2014 all before new judges!

Data Security is National Security.

I had represented the petitioner before Central Information Commission(CIC). Consequently, UIDAI shared truncated contract agreements with the foreign firms. The case was filed by Col. Mathew Thomas in Delhi High Court for full information in 2014.

CAG's audit report on UIDAI vindicates the demand for disclosure of UIDAI's contract with foreign firms like USA's Accenture & French Safran Group's subsidiary L1 Identities Solution Company.
