Aren't Indians denied Right to Privacy & Data Protection Law because judges seem afraid of meeting the fate of Justice Klara Sooronkulova of Kyrgyzstan Supreme Court's Constitutional Chamber?
Aadhaar Act found unconstitutional by a 5-judge bench but it is not declared to be unjust as yet by the 7-judge bench headed by Justice Dr. D. Y. Chandrachud, the 50th Chief Justice of India who is retiring on November 10, 2024. He has constituted the 7-judge bench but has not heard the case so far. The fate of Justice Sooronkulova, the hero of civil rights cause seems to be weighing on the mind.
