Dear Alice and Others,

The war on Ukraine is a war of Invasion launched by Putin, at the end of a considerable period of subterfuge and denials, as he denies the nationhood of Ukraine -- asserted quite emphatically and in some details in his televised speech just three days before the actual launch of the invasion: <http://en.kremlin.ru/events/president/news/67828>.
Also, not to miss, the still ongoing war of Invasion (and miraculous resistance) is being fought exclusively on the soil of Ukraine.

Any well-meaning effort to end the cruel war of invasion, laudable no doubt, must, hence, clearly acknowledge that basic fact and start off from that point.

Further, Putin and his minions are resorting to nuclear blackmail in order to make the West desist from providing necessary support to Ukraine engaged in a heroic pushback.
However, the rather meek withdrawal of the Russian Army from Kharkiv -- almost immediately after its ceremonial incorporation in the Russian Federation and the accompanying drumbeats of (veiled?) nuclear threat -- and the massive conscription drive, triggering a sort of an exodus of young people from Russia have shown up these threats as only empty threats meant to intimidate.
On the ground, there's a continuing stalemate despite the huge asymmetry between the two adversaries.

That's how things stand today.

The war (of invasion) must immediately be put to an end by means of cessation and vacation of the invasion.
There must be a concerted demand to that effect.
The issues of reparations and war crime trials may be tackled subsequently.

That's the way to peace.

Yes absolutely brilliant!

In the television news in Finland today we were told that a new peace movement is arising in Germany - no weapons to Ukraine - and we were told the movement is administrated by Moscow.

The western media is totally in the hands of the western warlords!

Sad and terrifying!
