[130 million downloads and 15.3 million active users on Android - the operating system for most smartphones.
Indian current population is estimated to be 1,380 million.
So, active users number just a tad above 1% - at least, below 2%.

Notwithstanding its widespread adoption, Aarogya Setu has lately been hobbled by a host of factors.

In early May, a month after the government of India launched Aarogya Setu — its contact-tracing app — MIT Technology Review of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology quoted one of its lead developers, Arnab Kumar, as saying “We beat Pokemon Go.”
