US Presidential Poll: Fate Hangs in the Balance!

This is just three days before the poll!
A presidential candidate who is publicly repeatedly threatening to send his political opponents to jail and deploy military against the "enemy from within" (ref: <https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4966421-trump-revenge-tour-threats/> and <https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/oct/14/trump-military-enemy-within-armed-forces-election-day>) -- apart from picturing "illegal immigrants" as hordes of invaders overrunning America as his main campaign theme -- is now talking of declaring victory on the poll day itself, without waiting for the official results!

Any such thing in this country was never heard of before.
The public promise of a rapid fire response -- in the form of a flood of calls for calm and patience -- by Kamala Harris is, presumably, primarily meant to dissuade him from making that extraordinary move -- a sort of attempted insurrection against the state.
The fate of the US -- and, in a way, that of the world -- hangs in the balance!
