For once, he's absolutely and brutally honest.

NDTV takeover is not meant to make money. 

But, to demolish the last pocket of (limited) resistance against the Modi regime from within the ranks of the mainstream electronic media. 

Once it's gone, the accredited drumbeaters will also feel even more free to beat the drums still more brazenly -- without anyone around to play a discordant note. 

There'll be no longer any pressure to deal with the inconvenient stuff -- in whatever manner.
