Have you been waiting for an opportunity to take a ZWUSA class or
finish the Zero Waste Associate Series?Well, here is your chance to do it via webinar this Spring!
Since 2013, the ZWUSA team has taught the popular Introduction To Zero Waste (IZW) class 50+ times at conferences across North America. In 2016, we added two advanced classes to the roster - Zero Waste Principles and Tools (ZWPT) and Zero Waste Planning, and the Zero Waste Associates Certification Series was born! The intensive series - class meetings, readings, assignments, group project work and exams, has been taught multiple times in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Albany, New York.
In Fall 2019, the team reworked each of the 6-hour classes into three 2-hour Zoom webinars. Taught by the ZWUSA Team with numerous guest speakers. Special orientations will be available in early April - stay turned, and each project group will work with an advisor in late May and early June. The price remains the same, $125 per class or $300 for the series.
As presented in the flyer above and attached, Introduction To Zero Waste will start mid April, Zero Waste Principles and Tools in early May. and the Certification webinars in mid-June.
Two schedules are currently available: Mondays from 3-5PM PST or Saturdays from 10AM-12PM PST. If those times are impossible, please let us know if a weekday 12-2PM PST slot would work and we will see if there is enough demand to schedule an additional class.
