Happy Summer!

Many of you have supported and heard me talk about my neighbors who are refugees from Afghanistan. Their subsidized housing expires on July 31st and, at this point, they have nowhere to go.  

They desperately want to stay in Evanston because of work, school and the connections they have made. They have worked exhaustively through the affordable housing agencies in the area and so far nothing has come up in Evanston that works for them. 

I am writing hoping that you, or someone you know, has an apartment to rent to them.

They are looking for a larger 2-bedroom, or smaller 3-bedroom, for around $1000/month in Evanston starting August 1st.

Please reply to me directly or pass this along you know who might be able to rent them a livable space!
