Farewell Knuckles

Knuckleheads,

It has been a blast. The last three years have produced great accomplishments from great players and friends. I am saddened to say this past weekend was the last time Grass Knuckles will compete.

Knuckles has suffered many casualties this year and is no longer in contention to achieve the minimum level of success this program deserves. I feel our inability to compete would only dishonor the short, but fantastic, history of this team. I commend you all a great deal for your loyalty and hard work. I know for a few of you this may seem abrupt, I sincerely apologize for that and for my failure as the leader of this team.

I would encourage all of you to continue to play this season. I am available to each of you individually if you need assistance finding a team, or anything else you might need. Feel free to email me or text me (512) 508-0983, I'd love to talk with you. 

Austin Teams

Doublewide

Captains: Jeff Loskorn, Jerrod Wolfe

The elite men's team. I would encourage everyone to tryout at the very least it will be a good experience. Open tryouts are this Saturday June 7th at Zilker 9am-1pm.

Cosa Nostra

Captains: Dave Reinhardt, Ryan Pickens, Brady Stoll

The elite mixed team. Open tryouts have passed. However, I am willing to speak with Cosa if you are interested in trying out. I cannot promise to get anyone a spot at invite only tryouts but ill do my best.

Riverside

Captains: Sean Douglass, Joe Emery, Leo Pepper

Most of you will end up here. Some of you will be a great fit with their A team. They also have a B team that will be competitive. Practice Saturdays at 9am? and Tuesdays at 6:30pm Zilker

BID

Captains: Jonathan Roniger

Competitive mixed team, usually makes regionals. This team is basically full. If you have any interest I'll help you out here but chances of getting a spot at this time are slim.

Pad See Ew

Captains: Murph Halasz, Chris Greigo

Fun new mixed team. Still learning the ropes of club ultimate but have aspirations of being a competitive team. Practice Sunday at 10:30am Zilker and I believe during the week as well, they also have multiple track workouts.

Also let me know if you have questions about other club teams outside the immediate area.

GK history

I am preparing an email outlining the history of Knuckles. I will also try and make a highlight video happen. I think RYAN COLBY wants to help me with this. So stay tuned.

Final jersey order

We have discussed making one final, super kick ass jersey. When there are more details we'll let you know. If you are interested let us know so we don't decide to be lazy and not go through with it!

Yea definitely! BOOO! I wasn't able to make it this weekend due to travel but have always remained loyal to my local club team. 

P.S. Grassknuckles is a way more kickass name than Riverside. I want a jersey.
