Grails Core Events according to spring io site

Hi all,

In this link: http://spring.io/blog/2013/05/13/reactor-a-foundation-for-asynchronous-applications-on-the-jvm/ we can see the following:

so from version 2.3 on, Grails applications will have a built-in, extremely powerful yet easy to use, convention-based Events API that looks very similar to the current implementation in the platform-core plugin. This Events API will be built on a Reactor foundation.

​But, looking into latest grails docs, no "reactor" is quoted, or even some "hooking into custom events".

Is the feature not documented or it wasn't even inserted into Grails Core?
