Hello Grafeas Community,

I'm pleased to announce the release of Grafeas server v0.1.6. I released the corresponding Docker image, us.gcr.io/grafeas/grafeas-server:v0.1.6, and Helm chart. The following went into this micro release:

  • Added support for in-toto.

  • Added JWT support to attestation notes.

Big thanks to Vicki Jackson, Aditya Sirish, Art Begolli, Henry Jenkins, Peng Liu, and  Alex Cope for the valuable contributions!

Cheers,

Wiktor

Hi Wiktor,

I'd like to better understand what exact changes went into the release, particularly what the second point (Added JWT support to attestation notes.) means. Would it be possible to add pull request or issue links to the changelog? I'm having a hard time identifying from the codebase which are the changes that went into v0.1.6.

Thanks,
Balazs

This is the PR that added JWT to attestations: https://github.com/grafeas/grafeas/pull/443
You can see all changes that went into this release here: https://github.com/grafeas/grafeas/pulls?q=is%3Apr+is%3Amerged

Thanks for the JWT PR, it's all clear now. As for the second link, those are all the pull requests that were ever merged, if I'm not mistaken. I was thinking something like using milestones, or adding an explicit list of PRs into the changelog. That would make it easier to find related PRs in the future for a given release.

Thanks,
Balazs

Hi Balázs, this is a great idea -- thank you for the feedback! PRs and GH issues are good artifacts to point to, and we'll be sure to do this in the future releases and will update the past releases as best effort.
