Hello Grafeas and Kritis Community,

We're excited to announce the release of v0.1.0 of Grafeas and Kritis. You can now run standalone Kritis with standalone Grafeas server, which is a major step towards enabling hybrid cloud solution. Additionally, you can find the following features:
  • Tutorial on how to run standalone Kritis with Grafeas, with 3 user journeys: link;

  • The Docker container with Grafeas server (us.gcr.io/grafeas/grafeas-server:v0.1.0) is public;

  • Grafeas server can be deployed on Kubernetes: see Helm instructions;

  • Grafeas server can be brought up with PostgreSQL storage backend (see grafeas-pgsql);

  • Basic support for Go client library (link) is available;

  • Fallback policy in Kritis admissions is accept-all;

  • Cleaner codebase to make it easier to onboard contributors.

I'd like to thank Liron Levin from Twistlock for his help with setting up secure communication between Kritis and Grafeas using TLS.

Cheers,
Aysylu on behalf of the Grafeas Team
