Hi all/Cameron,
Thanks for software
Hope you're well
I would like to understand how GQueues manages the following:
- bugs
- enhancements
- features
- help
- ideas
- questions
- suggestions
Correct me if I'm wrong, currently everything appears to be managed in this forum and with seemingly no organisational features (e.g. categories, tags) and long official support waiting times (contrary to other support channels I may say) this seems impractical at best and, dare I say, ignorant at worst
It's not for me to say how this forum should be used but I want to see features and enhancements given there own dedicated/formal space, where issues can:
have a single source of truth (i.e. duplicates handled/merged);
be voted up(/down) and prioritised, and;
be escalated to the roadmap[p] once they're popular enough (i.e. *in addition* to features the core team feels are equally or more important)
There's a real lack of respect/transparency about how feature requests are handled and with some requests on the forum being 5 years old that's a red flag for me - and should be for most users - when evaluating new software
If you're reading and:
- agree, then please up-vote and/or reply +1, or;
- disagree, then I'd love to know why?
Unless you specify a time frame, I'll follow up again in the near future and base my decision to keep using GQueues on whether this is addressed
If you have any issues (e.g. questions/queries) then happy to help
Hope this helps
Keep up good work
Look forward to reply
Yours faithfully
