Any way to delete/hide/archive queues without deleting all tasks in it?

I use my queues for projects, and when the project is finished I don't want the queue to remain in my list.  At the moment, it appears my only option is to delete the queue - which also deletes all archived tasks.

But I want my archived tasks to remain so that they're on my calendar and searchable, so I can confirm when they were completed.
Thanks!

Hi Brea,

Unfortunately, there's currently no way to archive an entire queue, but a workaround is creating a category named "Archived Queues" and moving queues to that category that are no longer in use.

I hope that helps, but let us know if you need anything else!

Brea, Thanks for asking that question. I had the same one!

Stacie, Thanks for the workaround.

You're welcome, Brian!  Glad that will work for you too.

This doesn't sound like  asolution for a very good feature request... since this way you loose the project structure...

I hope this feature is considered !

I agree, Frederick!  This request has been noted for future updates, but hopefully the workaround will help users in the meantime. :)

Has there been any movement on this?  I have two folders (one called "Completed Projects", and one called "Old Queues"), and both are getting filled up.  This is creating new problems, like making my list of queues to scroll through almost endless in the GQueues Gmail Add on.  Other people in our company give up access to a queue to clean it up, but that means they no longer have access in case they need the information.

A true archive function is very much needed in my opinion.

I am also adding a request for this feature. (Again.) It makes the Gmail Add On VERY difficult to work with when you have a ton of queues in your archive folder.
