Just wondering if you have any plans to integrate Gqueues with Alexa? Much the same way I can use the google assistant to say "Take a note" and it dumps the note into my Gqueues inbox.

You can use IFTTT (if this then that) app and create an Alexa recipe to send Shopping List items and ToDos to GQueues (just modify both recipes to have it go to your GQueues email address which goes right into your Inbox). Works great - I use it all the time.

Thanks for the info.  Does it just work Alexa shopping, or can I just tell Alexa to add a quick entry to my Inbox?

I setup 2 different recipes in IFTTT - ToDos and Shopping List. Here are links to both recipes that I modified by using my unique GQueues email address:

ToDos:
Send Amazon Echo ToDos to OmniFocus
https://ifttt.com/applets/286082p

Shopping List:
Send someone a short email via voice through Echo Shopping List hack
https://ifttt.com/applets/270310p

So I say: “Alexa - add “take out the garbage” on my to do list”. OR: “Alexa - add “crackers” on my shopping list”. They will both look different in GQueues based on how you setup each recipe so you can differentiate between shopping list items and to dos.

It would be great if Alexa added GQueues integration like they have with some other services (e.g. Any.do, Todoist, etc.). So far Alexa supports 5 different services directly.

What?! How do you get google assistant "take a note" to dump to Gqueues inbox?

On my android phone. When you say "Ok, Google, take a note" the 1st time it should pop up some apps that you could use to fulfill this function. One of those apps should be GQueues. Choose to always use GQueues and then every time you say "Ok, Google, take a note" it should put whatever note you dictate into your GQueues inbox. I use this all the time. Very handy.

I believe Amy is using Google Now, which was built into Android phones before Google Assistant.  Google Now supported GQueues.  Google Assistant, as far as I can tell, does not.
