I have the full subscription (not business) but I do not have the option to attach or link a gmail to a task when I try to create a task while a gmail is selected.  How do I activate this option?   I attached a screen shot of what I see when I select Create A Task while an email is selected.  Note that Attach or Link email is missing.

I have been attaching by saving gmail into Google Drive, but it is a bit time consuming.

Also, Is there an ability to select and an email and attach it to a task that has already been created, or must I save the email to Google Drive and attach from there?

Thanks much!
Candace

Hi Candace -

It looks like you've installed the regular GQueues Chrome Extension.  You will need to install the GQueues for Gmail Chrome Extension to create new tasks out of emails.

Full details here:

And at this point, it's not possible to attach emails to existing tasks, but it's on our list of requested improvements.

The extension is actually installed correctly and working.

It doesn't make sense to me either, but Google decided to make extensions that modify a web page appear with a grey icon.

In Gmail, click on an email and you should see the "Create Task" button at the top:

If it doesn't appear there, and you use the "Preview Pane" in Gmail, then check out this help doc for instructions:

Thanks for the info Cameron.

I now have a new problem.  Browser is Chrome - when I add the Gqueues for Gmail extension the icon is "greyed out" on the extension menu

I have deleted the extension, signed out and back into Chrome and Gmail, restarted computer etc... but the icon remains greyed out.  Are you able to assist me with this issue?

Thanks much!

Thanks again.  I do use a preview screen and it works with the shift.  Perfect.

Best.
