Backup up group conversations

I see there is a restore-group option, I would like to back up group conversations as well. Is that possible?

There's no API for this. The only way to export Group messages is Vault or Takeout.

A workaround:  You can backup all mails of a member in the group.  All conversations of this group should be included in the mail messages.
