Is there any way always show shadows under chart lines ? See how dogs highlighted with shadow in second chart? It appears when I place my mouse over "Dogs" label.

It would be great if there's a way to do this with JavaScript.

Sadly, there is currently no way to do this. We are working to better separate visual effects and the actions that cause them, but sadly we're nowhere near where we want to be. If this feature is important to you, please file a feature request here.

Maybe there is  a way to do this manually?

Sure, you could probably figure out a way to find the line SVG elements, and add an SVG filter to them, but you'd have to be careful to not grab any of the other path elements. I imagine there's a way to hack this together, but it's not so easy that I'd want to make an example.
