Feature Suggestions: Domain Annotation Line Style

I was playing around with the "Line" style of annotation and found it to be useful in some scenarios. I think this feature could be improved by letting the Stem.Length attribute accept a "%" value. This value would control where the text should be anchored, based on the length of the "Line" generated for the annotation. 

For example, It is very useful to attach this type of annotation to the domain, but it looks very strange having a block of text floating in the middle of your chart. I would rather anchor it at 0% or 100%, than 50%. If I attach the annotation to a column, I might want at 50% of the column rather than at the ends.

Some more alignment options for annotations would be useful.   We have plans for several improvements to annotations, but the alignment changes ought to be more straightforward, and might avoid some of the need for more intelligent layout.  Can't say when we will get around to implementing any of this, however.

Great to hear. I think a reason I liked the domain "Line" annotation style is that it changes the text direction. Perhaps much of this could be accomplished with a textDirection attribute?
